Benefits

Using Computer Aided Design (CAD) programmes and electronic ordering processes, we cut down paperwork, creating a delivery process that is controlled, sequenced and more sustainable. We make sure every piece of equipment and material can be traced back to ensure our quality is right first time, every time.

We work 'just-in-time', so that each modular component is designed and built only when needed. This efficiency, coupled with locally-sourced suppliers and operatives, means reduced processing times, minimal stock levels and controlled waste.

Using Off-site Solutions means that we work less at height, improve construction co-ordination and reduce live testing risk - which makes our practices and people safer, too.

At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, Off-site Solutions reduced working at height hours by 183,840, manual handling hours by 156,480 and hot works by 112,220 hours, contributing significant health and safety benefits to the project as well as saving time on site.
