Overview
LaserSweep™ is a portable measurement system for determining the spatial position of railway structures and features. It is used to determine clearances on both mainline networks and metro systems. The product has been extensively used on Network Rail and London Underground infrastructure.
How it works
LaserSweepTM allows the user to capture a detailed survey of rail assets, while reducing data processing time. It can be prepared for the survey prior to reaching the worksite, maximising the time on track for profile capture.
The user can create profiles of a range of structures including:
- Bridges
- Tunnels
- Viaducts
- Platform canopies
- Platform edges
- Overhead line equipment
- Datum plates
